oh ngerti aku sekarang.
ada satu lagi. uncountable nouns ini kalau dalam bentukan plural biasanya yang dihitung ukuran atau tempatnya. misal yah a glass of water versus two glasses of water. waternya sendiri tetep uncountable noun tapi ukuran atau tempatnya ya kamu lihat sendiri, bisa singular bisa plural. bikin contoh sendiri sono.
kalo a slice of cheese bisa bu?
bisa banget. contoh lainnya meski luggage sebagai satu konsep termasuk uncountable nouns tapi kita bisa bilang a bag atau two bags.
wah sip sip. ngerti aku sekarang
can i give you a piece of advice?
but of course.
ayo dicoba dalam kalimat biar inget terus uncountable nouns itu. perhatikan juga kalo pas baca nemu uncountable nouns. intinya sih belajar gih sono!
ah ibu ga seru deh!

whoaa … fisto got ya! good eye kiddo! it just shows that ibu teacher is human whom we should hormati for trying to share her passion. (to err is human etc etc ;))
btw; don’t be surprised when you hear native speakers use uncountable adjective for countable noun (eg “less people” instead of “fewer people”)! just because english is the only language they know, it doesn’t necessarily mean they can speak it properly. it also doesn’t mean that you should follow their salah kaprah especially when you write a formal essay.
ps. thanks for the email. i’ve been ill for most of the cold season.
